UPTAC Seat Allotment Process 2026
How Seat Allotment Works
Seats are allotted based on:
- JEE Main rank/percentile
- Choice preferences filled by candidate
- Category reservation (SC/ST/OBC/EWS)
- Seat availability in colleges
Allotment Rounds
Round 1
First allotment based on all registered candidates and their choices.
Round 2
For candidates who:
- Didn't get seat in Round 1
- Want to upgrade their allotted college/branch
- Participated in fresh registration
Spot Round
Final round for remaining vacant seats.
How to Check Seat Allotment
- Visit UPTAC portal
- Login with credentials
- Check seat allotment result
- Download allotment letter

After Seat Allotment
- Accept Seat: Login and accept the allotted seat
- Pay Fees: Pay admission fees online within deadline
- Download Receipt: Keep fee payment receipt
- Document Verification: Upload documents for verification
- Report to College: Physical reporting as per schedule
Seat Acceptance Options

| Accept & Freeze | Accept seat, no participation in next rounds |
| Accept & Upgrade | Accept seat but participate for upgrade |
| Reject | Reject allotted seat, participate in next round |
Important Deadlines
- Accept seat within 2-3 days of allotment
- Pay fees within specified deadline
- Report to college as per schedule
- Missing deadlines = seat cancellation
